Our garden center features everything you need to install and maintain a successful landscape or garden, including thousands of trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and vegetable garden favorites. We also stock a wide variety of mulches, soils, landscape stone, available in bulk or bagged quantities. We also feature one of the area’s biggest and most varied collections of tropicals and other houseplants along with handy tools and accessories, unique gardening-related artwork, seasonal décor, and other gifts. We feature a wide variety of native cultivars as well as pollinator-friendly selections.

March through September we are open 7 days a week:

Triple-cut natural (un-colored) premium red oak mulch: $34/scoop

Appalachian brown color-enhanced mulch: $37/scoop

Midnight black color-enhanced mulch: $37/scoop

Our color enhanced mulches are 100% hardwood bark, not scrap wood or brush  as some colored mulches are. You get both the benefits of bark mulch, along with longer-lasting product with the added colorant. The colorant added is guaranteed safe for people, pets, and plants.

Topsoil (sifted topsoil/unsifted sandy loam): $35/scoop

Bulk potting soil: $38/scoop

Potting soil has been previously used for organic growing operation and recovered for bulk sale. Great for mixing with topsoil for drainage/moisture retention.

Bulk sifted compost: $50/scoop

Three-way blend: $45/scoop a mixture of even parts of our topsoil, compost and bulk NuFiber. Makes a perfect blend for amending beds, filling raised or other garden areas.

Landscape stone (brown river rock): $44/scoop, Available in the following sizes:

            78’s (pea gravel)

            57’s (1x2” stone)

            357’s (2’3” stone)

            Gabions (4x6” stone, similar to rif-raf)

21A stone or “crusher run”: $30/scoop. A mixed grade bluestone from ½” to dust. Forms a tightly-packed layer useful for hardscape projects or perfect for driveway usage.

 

Bulk scoop sizing:

Mulches: our mulch bucket contains well over a cubic yard per scoop. Half scoops available as well

Stone and soils: due to weight, our stone/soil bucket is smaller

Our stone scoops contain about ½ yard of stone, or 1400lbs.

Our soil scoops contain about 75% of a yard

 

Delivery: delivery of any of our soils/mulches/stone is available for a small fee. Call us any time or stop in to set up your delivery. Pickup is available at our location any time during business hours. Just stop by with an appropriate truck or trailer and we can load you.

Landscape/garden plants: we stock thousands of plants of all kinds during the March-December season. We receive weekly shipments throughout the year and can often accommodate special requests if we don’t stock what you’re looking for.
